The DRIVE SOBER mobile application, developed by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, aims to assist individuals in finding safe transportation alternatives when they may have consumed too much alcohol. Beyond facilitating safe rides, the application provides informative content regarding the risks associated with impaired driving, including the following features:

<ul>
 <li>Designated Driver Selector: Users can assign colors to members of their group and spin a virtual bottle to select a designated driver who will remain sober.</li>
 
 <li>Find A Ride: This feature utilizes GPS technology to help users locate nearby taxi services, buses, or designated drivers. It is important to note that availability may vary by location.</li>
 
 <li>You Got Game: An engaging section of the app includes four skill assessments designed to evaluate mobility, reaction time, memory, and accuracy—all of which can be adversely affected when impaired. It is crucial to understand that these games are not comprehensive assessments of driving ability. Individuals can still face legal consequences for impaired driving with a BAC below 0.08 if signs of impairment are evident.</li>

 <li>Reverse It: A cognitive skill test where users spell words backwards.</li>
 <li>Don’t Wipe Out: A test focused on stability.</li>
 <li>Perfect Pour: A test assessing precision and accuracy.</li>
 <li>Tower or Topple: A reaction time evaluation.</li>
 </ul>
</ul>

The intent behind the DRIVE SOBER app is to encourage responsible behavior and contribute to the collective goal of reducing preventable fatalities on Wisconsin's roadways. Users are encouraged to promote the app among family and friends to amplify its impact within the community.
